Guy K. Cooksey
Guy believes in giving his clients personal attention. He develops close working relationships with his clients in order to fully present their cases. Since 1998, Guy has helped plaintiffs and defendants, individuals and businesses, with a broad range of disputes, large and small. By choice, Guy has chosen to engage in a wide variety of civil litigation matters and takes pride in his ability to work different types of cases through trial. Guy is always mindful of each client's unique needs and circumstances and the necessity of case-specific and cost-effective strategy. Guy will go forward aggressively. He develops legal and real-world leverage for his clients to maximize chances at trial and potential settlements.
Guy is admitted to practice in the State of Texas and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
Guy obtained his Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 1998. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Texas Tech University in 1994.
In his spare time, Guy studies ancient and military history, collects maps, canoes rivers and hikes trails, lifts weights, and relishes being a father.
